Learning about Perimeter

Today our class went out onto the courts to learn about  perimeters. We learned how to work out the perimeter of a rectangle and a square. We also learned how to use stage 4 stage 5 the stage 6 strategies. The best part was when we got to work it out in pairs.

My Maths Test


Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag. I learned:
  • I am at the right level for adding and subtraction.
  • I am  at the right level in my times tables.
  • I am just below in my fractions.
My goal is to focus on learning my fractions and sharing equally.

with this experiment we are learning how to fill  balloon with gas from a Pepsi bottle.



ingredients
you will need a

  • fizzy drink
  • 1x balloon


step..
Step 1.. Open the drink
Step 2.. Put the balloon on the drink
Step 3.. Give it a little shake.

Conclusion.
when we put the balloon on the bottle of pepsi the gas(carbon dioxide) escaped into the balloon and it inflated a little bit

turning Solid to Liquid to Solid experiment


How to turn Solid to Liquid to Solid


With this experiment our aim was to turn something solid into liquid and back into solid
Materials:
  • Raro
  • Jug
  • Ice block sticks
  • Water
  • Cups
  • Wooden Spoon

Steps:
Step 1..Open the Raro packet .
Step 2..Pour the raro packet in the jug.
Step 3..Add the water to the jug.
Step 4.. Use the wooden Spoon to mix it all together until it dissolves.
Step 5..Pour the liquid into the cups.
Step 6..Add the ice block sticks into the cups.
Step 7..Put the cup in the freezer.
Step 8.. Wait until it turns solid then you can eat your ice blocks.

Conclusion.
When you put the liquid into the freezer the cold temperature turns it into a solid.
